WE Energies 12" pipe staged for open cut

KS Energy Services is wrapping up a project to place 14 miles of 12” pipeline in Sparta, Wisconsin for We Energies. The last mile of pipe and prepping was laid and ready for Hydrotest at the beginning of August 2019. The project began in January 2019 and was substantially complete at the end of August. HDD and Jack and bore footage was nearly 14,000 feet with 30 individual drill profiles. Final restoration is underway.

With the project running up against Fort McCoy, a United States Army installation between Sparta and Tomah, Wisconsin, the base commander shared his reservations about having a contractor work along the entrance to the main gate.

However, we received positive feedback from the base commander who expressed his appreciation for the good work and avoidance of issues with traffic.

At the same time, we just completed the Hydrotest and successful installation of a 10,000 feet of 36” pipeline outside of Emmons, Iowa. The pipeline was installed for Northern Natural Gas and crossed the Iowa Minnesota border. HDD and Jack and bore footage was nearly 20% of total footage almost 2,000 feet.

Additional pipeline projects include: a 3 mile, 8” pipeline in Worthington, Minnesota for Northern Natural Gas and a 2 mile, 16” pipeline in Lemont, Illinois for Nicor Gas.
