KS Energy Services tackled an extremely challenging project right in their backyard, for longtime client, TransCanada. The project entailed a take up and re-lay of over 5,000 feet of 22 inch steel gas main.

The construction route went right thru the backyards of homes in a subdivision, three road crossings and a wetland.  Starting in mid-May, the replacement gas main had to be completed under a strict deadline. In addition, along the right-of way, the 22 inch gas main was in between a 30 inch and 24 inch gas main for the entire length of the project. Because of these constraints, the crew had very limited space to work with.

Although there were numerous issues that could have delayed the project, our crew was able to persevere and is currently scheduled to meet the required deadline.
